The comparative studies of the Central Part of the Visual Field (CPVF) by both Color Campimetry (CC), PC - based "Ocular" program, and Automated Static Perimetry ("Humphrey Field Analyzer"), demonstrate the similar results in Luminance Sensitivity Thresholds (LST) detection in norm (Fig. 1) and glaucoma patients (Fig. 2-3).
Fig. 2-3 present the typical SPVF glaucoma's defects in the Bierrum area as well as the scotomas in the upper nasal quadrants (so called "Nasal Step") detected by both methods.
The distribution and the extent of the defects in the macular area (of non glaucoma origin) are drown precisely in the Ocular's diagrams.
